SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Amazon.com Inc. AMZN on Tuesday launched its new Entertainment Collectibles store in another shot at a sector of the online retail market dominated by eBay Inc. . Amazon said the new store will initially offer more than 350,000 collectible items, such as memorabilia associated with movie celebrities, musicians, TV shows and movies. Amazon said in a statement that merchants will have to be pre-approved to sell merchandise in the Entertainment Collectibles store. Amazon shares $2.04 to $267.13 in early trading Tuesday.
