Siemens AG (SIE.XE) said Thursday that it has signed a long-term deal with the Sudanese Thermal Power Generating Company, or STPGC, to provide maintenance and advisory services for two power plants in Sudan.

Under the agreement, Siemens said it will supply service and maintenance for power-generating assets and related components operating at the 337-megawatt Port Sudan and 502-MW Garri power plants respectively.

The company added that it will also supply operation and maintenance-advisory services for the two plants, including a team of experts to provide technical support for STPGC's technicians.
