What to Watch in FedEx, General Mills, and Nike Earnings

Plus, an update on the residential real estate market and durable goods orders.

Jeremy Glaser: Welcome to The Week Ahead. After a busy couple of days highlighted by high-profile data releases and a Fed rate increase, the next few days will be relatively quiet.

FedEx will report on Tuesday. We're looking for updates on how the shipping giant's integration of TNT is progressing. General Mills has been struggling with what analyst Erin Lash describes as lackluster sales, and we will see if that trend will continue. Nike had tepid future orders in its fiscal second quarter, and that will be a key metric watched when the firm reports.

On the data side, existing and new homes sales data will give a snapshot of the health of the residential real estate market. Durable goods orders are also on tap.

Stay tuned to Morningstar for our take on these stories.
